EXPANSION OF THE LABORATORIES
TRENTINO INSTITUTE FOR TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH - TRENTO
The new building is intended to house the lecture hall of the Faculty of Engineering at the Universita degli Studi of Trento and the expansion of the current head office of the Trentino Institute for Technology Research (IRST).
On the ground floor we have the main entrance to all the university functions; on the same level there are the general services dedicated to students such as cafes, secretariat, a study room, and the reception.
On the upper floors which are accessible by circular elevators and the two ramp escalators. There are areas dedicated to host educational activities for the University and research laboratories for the Institute.
Particularly picturesque is the extensive internal courtyard, brightly lit by the large window placed as roofing, where overlooking this courtyard we have a balcony which distributes all the lecture halls. |
