4 STAR HOTEL - ABU DHABI - UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
The design of the 4 star hotel in Abu Dhabi reflects the ongoing economic and commercial development of the city. Two semi circular translucent 25 and 26 floor forms arising from a solid podium, splaying and changing color along their silhouette, give the structure a dynamic yet elegant aspect.
These two structures are joint in the centre until a certain height by a glass façade which illuminates the large hall in all its height. The hotel is equipped with every comfort and facility, a wellness centre and swimming pools located on the roof and a wide choice of rooms that vary from standard and executive rooms to royal suites.
The hotel's hall has been designed as an empty space lit from above by glass roofing. The first two floors which host restaurants and fitness areas face this empty space but are duly screened by a glass layer, whereas the connecting features that take you to the hotel rooms at the upper levels are clearly visible. A blade of water on the ground floor screens the entrance to the elevators which are hidden behind a carved partition for the remaining height and from which you can catch a glimpse of their passage. |
