1st proposal
The tender asked for two proposals for a residential project, made up of 60 units, within the Jumeirah Golf Club. The purpose of the tender was to create a complex with architectural and spatial characteristics unlike the rest of the development in Italian country houses style.
Every villa has two floors and the upper floor was to be approximately 50% of the lower floor. In the first proposal we worked on the mass; we removed and slid the initial volume to obtain a dynamic, well-proportioned and balanced block achieving a perfect dialogue with internal spaces.To guarantee connection and interchange between internal and external spaces we used big glazed panels to ensure continuity with the garden and different heights to define the environment, the private rooms are placed around a large central atrium.
2nd proposal

Every villa has two floors and the upper floor was to be approximately 50% of the lower floor. In the second proposal the structure is made up of two volumes, connected by a central double height atrium. This division and the consequent internal space distribution allow a variation of every residential unit and versatility in adapting to the various lots by rotating and sliding. |
