UNIVERSITA' CATTOLICA DEL SACRO CUORE - ROME
The plan of the new medical library includes the complete reconstruction of all the spaces that for the past 35 years have housed the old one. It is developed on three floors: the ground floor is destined to the archive, the first floor into reading rooms and the second into reference rooms, newspaper and periodical libraries, computerized consultation and other technical-administrative support.
The use of colored design floors, distinguish the different functional areas, contributing together with natural and artificial lighting a warm and comfortable environment.
A particular false ceiling and a curved design reception desk gives dynamism to the space.
